99 bottles of beer on the wall… 99 bottles of beer!
Less than 100 days to go and what do we have to show for it….. hum.
The Wheels:
Well we have a car – Not just any car, quite a beauty some would say. Not only does she look the part, she also runs ok. The holes are slowly being replaced with plastic padding, the interior is squeaky clean (thanks to Gareth) and hopefully she will be all taxed and tested for the 7th Gig.
The Sponsors:
Currently we have sold 19 of the 42 – that’s nearly half way dag-nam’t. This is good as now Pete won’t have to work so much overtime for us to afford for the fuel. That said, there are still 23 squares left….. come on, you know you want one. It’s a great place to shame the last girlfriend / boyfriend who cheated on you!
Or perhaps not.
The Donations:
So far we’ve raised about £400…. A little way to go yet you might think. AND YOU’D BE RIGHT! However, we have two HUGE events in the next two weeks:
- Brunel Freshers Week – That’s right, this Friday we will be experiencing the delights of Brunel uni with 4 lanes and 500miles (roughly) of scalextrics track. WICKED!.
- Andy Flannagan & Fenster gig – In only two weeks time, St Marks Batersea rise is going to be the venue for this years must see gig. Tickets only £5 on the door. Check out all the details here.
